The landing gear mounting plate has been epoxied to the wing ribs. A small problem is that the strut is about 1/2" further outboard than it's supposed to be. The plans showed a homemade landing gear made from heavy piano wire. The wire strut was right up against the inboard rib. In hindsight, I should have moved that rib inboard about 1/2" inch. The problem is that this will effect the placement of the wheel well pod.
